Little Wrigglers is the St Mary’s Toddler Group
If you have a toddler or baby and would like to meet with other mums (and some dads and grandparents) then Little Wrigglers is for you.
There are plenty of toys, games and crafts for every age and we spend some time singing songs together and hearing different stories from the Bible.
To cover the cost of crafts and refreshments there is a small charge of £1 per family.
Every Monday morning in term time from 9.30 to 11.00 at Wombwell Community Hall.
St Mary’s ‘Family Fun’
Young families are very precious to us as a Church family and we have set up ‘Family Fun’ to enjoy time together as families with young and old playing games, catching up on each other’s lives and encouraging each other and our children in our walk with God.
Each week starts with a short story from the Bible followed by family time with a variety of games, crafts, jigsaw puzzles, play-dough and much more, as well as coffee, tea and other refreshments. To cover the cost of crafts and refreshments there is a small charge of £1 per family.
Please join us every Monday afternoon in term time from 4.30 to 5.30 at Wombwell Community Hall.
We look forward to seeing you there.
The follwing activities are 'in abeyance' at the moment pending the appointment of our new Rector.
St Mary’s Bible Study - Exploring how God’s word applies today
The Psalmist writes that ‘God’s word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.’ This is so because it comes from the one who created us - God Himself – who knows us inside and out.
If you would like to understand yourself better and discover how God’s word speaks into every situation of our lives, then our weekly Bible Study is just for you.
Please join us every Tuesday evening 7.45 to 8.45pm at the home of the Curate. Please text 07446 354121 for details.
St Mary’s Support
Life can be hard at times, and the loss of a loved one, health problems or worries about life can leave us feeling vulnerable, isolated and fragile.
Time Together’ is a chance for you to meet over tea, coffee and cakes with other people who have had similar experiences and who would love to hear your story.
Please join us every 2nd Thursday of each month at 10.30 at St Mary’s Church.
Everyone is welcome.
